Sweet citrus with lavender hit first, then raspberry candy - quite sweet and musky into summer green as the sweetness goes quite quickly into sharpish fruity/chypre notes.

Tones of sandalwood, patchouli and oakmoss developing an almost salty (vetiver) caramel at the end.

The Great Randello
"The perfume's creator, Sarah McCartney, chose to name The Great Randello after both her husband and a Welsh magician, while each ingredient is inspired by a travelling circus. An unusual pool of inspiration, granted, but each note follows and logical path.
A citrus accord for the acrobats; oakmoss pathouli chypre heart for the dense big-top atmosphere; strawberry caramel for a clown’s tricks; and woods for the ringmaster who keeps it all under control."

Frau Tonis   Berlin
Tom Daxon

Tom Daxon is one of the brightest names among young British perfumers. He grew up in an atmosphere of olfactory creativity, his mother being for 30 years a fragrance chemist and creative director. As a child Tom would customarily accompany her on business trips to Grasse and it was in this legendary perfume capital that he first met his current collaborators Jacques Chabert and his daughter Carla.

The Chaberts have created for Chanel, Guerlain and L'Oreal: they remain independent perfumers, personally buying and quality-testing all their raw materials. They collaborate with Tom in what is essentially a family intimacy and smoothly integrated partnership.
Tom's inspirations are translated by father and daughter into a series of dazzling fragrances, at a leisurely pace and with no consideration of marketing plans or focus groups. The emotional or celebral appeal of individual oils and Tom Daxon's own personal preferences are the influences which give birth to this highly individual and beautiful Collection. All the fragrances are blended in Grasse and come in eau de parfum strength, mixed to concentrations of between 14-16%.

VSOP

Piquant peppery green citrus opens to soft spice notes and goes onto woody almost balsamic finish.

A nice opening that is clear and fresh. It goes onto warming woody notes that make it very elegant to wear and shows that this young perfumer is in touch with the enduring classic core of good perfumery.

"Our scents are made here in Berlin and are show-cased in clear glass pharmacy bottles to guarantee that nothing will distract you from what is really important - the fragrance itself.

Our fragrances range from the fresh floral, 'Linde Berlin', and energetically tangy 'Berlin Summer', to the utterly extravagant 'Pure Violet' - a scent that captivated Berlin’s very own Marlene Dietrich.

Our olfactory homage to the city of Berlin is the wonderful “Eau de Berlin”, a modern, energetic, fresh and vibrant scent that mirrors the city it represents. Our love for perfumes can be felt in every little detail."
